The Word was written in April 2018, and is the first song I wrote whose lyrics are largely from the word of God. It includes sections from the following verses:
John 1:1-18
Ephesians 3:14-19
John 17:1-11
Matthew 6:5-15

When God breathed life

The true light

The Word became flesh
And dwelt among us
The One and Only
Confusing the darkness

In Him is life
Grace and truth
Giving light

Countless blessings

Are children born of God

God is revealed now the work is done
The gift of eternal life has been made known
